We can find details about different meditative practices in our ancient scriptures. The Hata yoga  ( a test of physical and mental strength & stamina) , Karma yoga ( conscious working), Gyana yoga ( the path of divine knowledge ) , Dhyana yoga ( mind control) and Raja yoga ( balance and sublimation of energy ) etc. Concentrating in the self or soul or God is called meditation. Yoga refers to the integration of soul and the Supreme Power. If we consider God as Ocean, then the soul is a drop of it. When a person prays to God in the form personified by him or her, he could not get true direct connection with God. Only through true meditation, God’s grace can be attained.  In the path of devotion, man tries to tell his feelings for God and also prays for his petitions to be granted. But he never knows, where his appeal goes or by whom and how it is granted. `In case of meditation ( Real Raja yoga ), the (mental) conversation is complete with response and reciprocal love of God. Moreover, we would be able to realize God’s will and follow Father’s instructions to attain wisdom.

In “Shastra’s” (  Holy Scriptures ) it is written that one could attain salvation by ‘ Yogic Sadhana’s ( practices). That’s why sages, saints and spiritually evolved souls devoted their whole lives for ‘Tapascharya’ ( leading a chaste life) .raja yoga ( The king of yogic methods ) enhances the power of self ( soul ) and also destroyes our Karmic effect completely.

Like how our physical body gets strength by food, our soul receives special (that was lost long ,long ago) through yogic practices like meditation. Through meditation we could prevent our negative thoughts, can get divine energy and realizing the true purpose of our lives. Supreme Father comes and trains us in the path of ancient yogic technique of our Bharat ( India ). “ With the help of yoga one can get God realization through self realization”. He can also get the divine experience of Supreme elements and attain his original Godlt state. Individual and universal welfare are simultaneously happening in this process.

Any electrical instrument , when not connected properly with mains ( power) it will not work. In the same way souls will not get power without proper ( direct) connection with Supreme Power through meditation.

Untill and unless we get connected with the Supreme Power House by thought form, how can we experience our true self? Through this connection, self confidence is brought within us and always our soul gets filled up with bliss and peace. Man will always be in eternal happiness. Sidha yoga, `Sura yoga and Asura yoga have emerged and evolved from Raja yoga alone. Hence Raja yoga is said to be the King of all yogas.
